Review: Double

Chap is a nobody. He has no family, friends or identity. He has been hopping from place to place for the past four years and has no place to call home. That is until his picture is found on a missing person's ad. Cassiel Roadnight. It's like looking in the mirror. Why can't he be him? Nobody would know... These are all the things Chap thinks to himself as he decides to take over this boy's life.
As Chap becomes Cassiel and is brought "home" he learns that this isn't going to be the perfect life that he hoped for, something is wrong. Why can't he talk to the crazy boy in town? Why does his brother seem so perfect? What has he stumbled into? After all, you can't take over a person's life and expect to get away with it.

I was so intrigued with this book when I read the synopsis on NetGalley and the cover is so creepy that I just had to read it! I was not disappointed with it in the least! From the very first sentence I was hooked! This book moves quickly and has so many twists and turns. I loved how I felt I knew what was going on but then the author had me convinced I was wrong. Then she would throw in another curve ball and I would be like "what!?" This book made my pulse race but not in a scary, "ohmygosh I can't read this when I'm home alone" way. There was suspense but it's a good book to read if you aren't usually into suspenseful books because there isn't anything really scary about it. I really enjoyed this book and because it is only about 250 pages, it is a super quick read. You should definitely check this out, you will not be disappointed.
